About Liam Croft
Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he's found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.

This will be my first Silent Hill game. Always been a Resident Evil Dino Crisis(dreaming of a return) guy. Well F.E.A.R. as well, but that series fell off a cliff lol.

I'm really doing something wrong.
First I ordered Lollipop Chainsaw at Play-Asia, which turned out as a mistake, since it takes them forever to have that on stock.
And now Silent Hill 2, while a lot of people seem to already have it, I have to wait until next week in hope, the retailer sends it in time for release.

I’m looking forward to starting this game after work tonight. It will be my first venture into this series, so I’m excited to see why people regard this game so highly.

How is the frame rate on quality mode folks? Heard that there were dips and frame pacing issues that let it down a bit. I really want to pick it up but know I should wait it out for a better experience.

@Elitepatriot As far as I'm concerned, there is only one FEAR game.

Silent Hill 2 is excellent. I'm closing in on the platinum (at nearly 30 hours of gameplay). The only real criticism I have is that the game is bizarrely easy. It gives you way more ammo and health than you need and none of the puzzles (even on hard) aren't terribly difficult or obtuse.

@theSpectre I understand. I still do enjoy the second game. But yes, the first is on a level that will probably never be matched.
